    I wish. I'm ex-military and almost an LEO. Decided on a different career path at the last minute. Had numerous LEO friends ( one of the reasons I considered it) and know how to act. Don't break the law and don't speed etc. Heck, before long I'll be an official old fart as well. (hey, turn that durn music down, kid) I know what these guys get to deal with all day long. Just have not always run into the good ones locally I guess. My contacts with them have been casual, not official. Out at sea, well let's just say no supervisor is lookin' over their shoulders. It's a very, very different world out there.....

    Since I moved to Florida I haven't had a single bad encounter with a LEO.
    When I lived in NY it was very different.

    Here in Missouri many of the CCW classes are taught by LEOs or retired LEOs. In my town, I see many of the LEOs in my medical clinic for their healthcare. Most of them support CCW for the general public.
