Tennessee requires 48 rounds to be fired, with minimums of 12 rounds fired at 3, 7, and 15 yards each and 12 rounds fired between 2 and 25 yards. Somebody screwed up.
The preceding post may contain sarcasm; it's just better that way. However, it is still intended with construction and with the Love of my L-rd Y'shua.

That's some impressive shooting.
Where did you get your Shield? Sounds like it wasn't much of a problem getting one.

Good shooting, especially for someone who is relatively new to shooting. The Texas test uses the same target, and I had been shooting for years before I took the test, and didn't do as we'll as you did.

Congrats. Are those powder burns around some of the holes?

That's a total of 48 with 70% somewhere on the silhouette (or close). IOW, assume that it took nine to tear out the center, and congratulate the man on his new TN HCP.

The minimum is actually 68.75% (33 hits on black out of 48 rounds fired). The course requires a minimum of 48 rounds to be fired and the OP said he fired 45. Either he is mistaken about the number of rounds he fired or the instructor didn't operate the course correctly and the OP technically didn't complete it. I don't care either way because obviously he can shoot.

No the target would have had a bad day. Instead of a smile a frown would have been more appropriate. Nice shooting. He is better than some of the police officers I work with.
