Can't get my hybrid holster to be comfortable HELP
I just purchased an old faithful stage 3 kit for my cw9. I've been wearing it about a week or so and this thing is not really comfortable. Every body and their mother says these hybrids are great... I wear 3:30 to 4 o'clock. It seems pretty worn in now. It's like the kydex won't let the leather wrap around my body. Any tricks from y'all experienced folks. I'm new to CCW. I'm used to having an m9 and m4 where conceal-ability wasn't an issue... HELP

The only trick I found was to put the hybrid in the drawer and get a different holster.

What belt are you using?
Have you tried it further forward?

Not a gun belt yet... ($$$). When you say further forward do you mean like 1-2 o'clock?

I'll chime in about 2 weeks from now... I have my Old Faithful on the way and also have a Theis that I just got an email saying it shipped today. I wanted to try both the "thin" and the "thick" kydex types.

I put the gun in the holster and heated the kydex with a hair dryer and curved it to fit me better realy helped mine feel better.

Try calling Old Faithful Holsters, they may either have an idea how to resolve your issue, or you may get a return authorization from them. They claim to have a 30 day no hassle return policy. Oops! I just went to their webpage and they are offering a "30 Day Challenge Guarantee." You should check it out.

I just ordered an Old Faithful holster a week ago (yet to arrive). Please, please, please keep us posted on any Improvement techniques since it sounds like at least one other person also has one on order. The thicker Kydex may need a little tweaking as a previous poster mentioned.
At the very least, if it continues to be uncomfortable, Old Faithful may refund your money AND still let you keep the holster! That's his 30 day challenge.

This should take you about 5 to 10 minutes. Remove the kydex from the leather. Roll the leather up in all directions (left to right, right to left, top to bottom, bottom to top, do it diagonally from both ways, and do it from both sides...roll it body side in and roll it body side out). Use a hairdryer to heat the kydex edges (where the screws go) and then form the kydex to the spot on your body where you want the kydex to be when you're wearing the holster.

Welcome to the forum. A heavy gun belt will not make a whole lot of difference for an IWB holster. With an IAW holster, it is common to wear pants one size (two inches) bigger around the waist to accomodate the IAW holster and weapon. You did not mention what part of the holster was bothering you. There are tabs on either side of the kydex that fasten to the leather. Are those turned toward your body ... they should be slightly away from your body so the leather can better conform. A heat gun for a few seconds and a little pressure can make any changes necessary. That 30 day money return is certainly tempting if it doesn't feel good after two or three weeks. Good luck with that.
