Uncomfortable at school
Call me nuts, but out of all the places I find myself during the week, my classroom is where I feel completely naked. With everything that has happened to this date I'll space off during class realizing theres nothing I can do if something were to go down, pretty lousy feeling.

There are lots of things you can do if something goes down.

Now wait just a minute!
You don't feel safe? With all the regulations in place?
Let's see.
State..Federal & local laws. Not to mention signs all over the place.
..and of course there are the police.
With all that in place you still don't feel safe?
I hope you are studying constitutional law.

There are too many things in life you have no control over. Take care of those things you can control and go on with your life. Take it from an old man, life is too short to worry over things you can't control.
Freedom doesn't come free. It is bought and paid for by the lives and blood of our men and women in uniform.

I'm glad you have been on the other end of a barrel enough to make all these comments, I should probably just have you sit in my classroom.

They outlaw Knives and Pepper Spray, what about your H2H the Corp taught you and the best defense is a good offense,Unless some Shooter targets your classroom first, you can set up an ambush at the door,I haven't seen where too many mass killers have any real training in Tactics so when they enter a room aren't expecting to get attacked and carefully clearing the entrance, they are focused on the targets in the room.IMHO

What school and class are you attending ??? Have you checked your school and state laws ?? I know about 2 years ago I was taking a class at a local community college and was able to recognize that one of my classmates was carrying concealed. At that time the college had a no weapons allowed in the rule book, but from my understanding all they can do is ask you to leave as it is not Virginia law. Depending on your state law and school you might be able to do a "Don't ask, don't tell" God Bless

Sorry, but that is pathetic. If I do not have a firearm with me for whatever reason I don't fret about it and let it take over my life and distract me from what I am doing. You got to be kidding ,me...."space off during class"....And you were/are a Marine? Take 30 sconds of your time, come up with a couple of courses of action in case something does happen, maybe keep your SA up a notch, and concentrate on school...or girls...either one is laudable
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

I don't feel naked unless I'm naked, regardless of where I am. Paranoia strikes deep...

And even when I'm naked, I often try to make the best of it.
