So, in some states it is legal to carry a firearm and consume adult beverages. Here, in Nevada, the legal limit for drinking and carrying is 0.10 bac (dui is 0.08) so I can drink quite a bit and still be legal to carry.
Being a resposible drinker is being a responsible drinker. I think you just don't trust yourself to behave like an adult once you have started to drink. I do trust myself. I agree, those who cannot have a drink and continue to behave should not drink. But this has nothing to do with guns!
So, in your view, if I go out to eat with my wife and have a glass of wine with my meal I should no longer be allowed to defend her against attackers! I disagree.
