Happy to hear you're A Okay. Been looking at the pf-9, heard pretty good things minus some occasional rust issues on the slide.
Hot casings down the shirt, never fun!

It's happened to me many times, as you said safety glasses save the day. The hot brass down the shirt is another story..............

I had several female friends that said the same thing until they learned what not to wear to the range.

You had several female friends who said "it's all fun & games..."? That's it boys, the party's at Tony's house!

You'll shoot your eye out!

I hate getting an "eye opener" when firing. It's always a surprise.
BTDT many times. Thanks be to good eye protection.

Got the hard chrome model its bout two years old I guess .
This is one I HAVE NEVER CARRIED ITS A STAY AT HOME GUN.
It has been always flawless I would say bout 700 threw it . One FTE today 1st time .
It will sling a hot case down back of tee shirt happen more than one time with this one.
I think its at bit more snappy than my LC9.
I do pocket carry the LC9.
The hard chrome 9 Tech would be a hard pocket carry dont think it would work
As to date with the LC9 never been hit with that ome yet bout 800 threw it

IIRC, my first burning casing got stuck behind the glasses at the temple, which held it hard against the skin. Learned the value of a good wide-brimmed ball cap, that day.

My son did the exact same thing a few weeks ago, not long after I reminded him to put his ball cap on. It instantly took the top two layers of skin off.

Tell him I know the feeling. I've still got the scar, there. One could say that I've no longer got a "burning" need to go without a ball cap on the range, these days. Ain't it the truth.

I always loved the rapid fire stages of rifle qual and getting pelted by brass. Lol.
You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, "I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along." . . . You must do the thing you think you cannot do. Eleanor Roosevelt
