Legal!! Finally....
Well its taken me almost 9 years to feel like I needed/wanted to carry but I am legal now! I took the course Saturday after Thanksgiving turned my paperwork into the Sheriff 2 weeks ago yesterday got my letter back from the Sheriff yesterday. Today I went to the DMV and got my CCW on a state ID! I am happy I have done it. In case anyone is wondering I am in Missouri my course was $100.00 the Sheriffs fee was $100.00 and the DMV got $5.50 for the State ID about 2 1/2 weeks start to finish.

Congrats! It won't take long before carrying is as natural as wearing shoes. Be safe!

Congrats. Won't take long before you feel like something is missing when you don't have your gun on you. Stay safe.

Congrats. Short time for the process and in payments, great. Happy and safe CCing.

I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.

Yes indeed, congratulations are in order especially for the short time it took. Here in California it took me 11 months from start to issue of my CCW.

Now start carrying everywhere you legally can,bad things can happen in a second and a gun 10 feet away may be too far to save you or a loved one.I've read a story where a guy and his friend were robbed and killed outside a building, his parents asked the Cops about his gun "that he always carried"When they went to his apartment they found his gun,he had decided or forgot it when he went out that night.
"Outside of the killings, Washington has one of the lowest crime rates in the country,"
