Grossman is the real deal- a bit eccentric (I've met him a few different times, and was interviewed about an critical incident I was involved in, I got to know him a little bit) but has a heart of gold and a mind to match.

Fairly strong points. Nicely done, Mr. Grossman.

A concise, cogent and intelligent letter drafted to each of our elected representatives in federal and state legislatures could be combined with a copy of this Grossman article and a couple others. Might make a good EOY gift for each of them, as they enter the new year contemplating whether to cave on all fronts or to intelligently address the complex issue of violence/crime reduction ... by going after it much like the school fires issue was gone after half a century ago. Let's get to writing ...

Good article. Thanks for posting the link. Unfortunately, the people who MOST need to read and heed this will probably never see it! We here on the forum are "preaching to the choir" so to speak. The politicians and leaders who could actually DO something are too busy decrying the "evil" guns and trying to ban them, instead of focusing on the real problem and intelligent solutions.

It's a good article. Grossman is, in my opinion, too "extreme" for the masses. The sheeple would read other things he has written and dismiss him as a bloodthirsty warrior, I fear. You have to understand that the mindset of the anti-gun folks is guns are the problem. If it doesn't fit into what they already believe they will find a reason to dismiss it.

Arm all staff members of age!!! Give them monthly training to ensure they are very capable of using a firearm properly. Turn the sheep into sheep dogs...I don't know any wolf would mess with a school knowing 80+(I went to a fairly large school) knowing they are armed. Just my thought.
