Without a doubt the LC9 is lighter, smaller, and easier to carry; I have even pocket carried it. However, the quality of the PPS is superb. It's a a small gun that shoots like a big gun, and it's solid as a rock. PPS has in my opinion a far better trigger, but it costs about $200 more than the LC9.
If I had to choose between the 2, I'd choose the PPS.

LC9 is very easy to carry and conceal. Shooting it is nice as well and pretty accurate for it's size.

Just got the wife the PPS for Christmas. Just came back from the range and we both love it!
Shoots great groups.
