Few facts that I know:
It is not a violation of MN law to carry in any posted business - properly posted or not.
You may be asked to leave any business for any or no reason.
Only upon refusal to leave upon request are you guilty of anything.
Just about anything you could do to attract the attention of security may get you booted. They will stop someone for wearing their hood up, seriously.
If you're concealing and are made, they will likely stop you, disarm you, detain you, run your permit, and then escort you out and return your unloaded weapon and ammo to you in the parking lot. But so long as you are compliant, you will have not violated any laws.
Speaking from experience by chance? :scratchchin:
Direct experience, no. I know people...

The first agent I saw was a K-9 Handler up by the food court before my fiance an I ate at BWW, and the second security agent we saw was right as we were leaving the mall. I kept tugging on my jacket and shirt like one of yous mentioned and everything went fine.
Also I did contact Marc S. Berris and here was his answer to my question: and I quote "The short answer is that the Mall of America is violating the statute by enforcing a general ban on the carry of firearms within." -MSB
