    The Shooters' Bar

Here in Minnesota, David Gross is a well-known attorney in the Twin Cities, specifically for his track record and expertise in helping move carry reform forward in 2003. He is also universally recommended for representing people involved in a carry-related issues, even in appealing denials when applying for a permit.

Tonight, I was looking for contact information for him, and ran across The Shooters' Bar, a resource I'd never seen before. So, with the disclaimer that I know nothing about these attorneys, here's the link:

I'm somewhat surprised to not see the name John Gutmacher on there listed for Florida.

He's the guy who wrote the definitive book on CCW/firearms law for Florida. (They hawk his book at the CCW class they run at the south Florida fairgrounds gun show as the best resource for CCWers.)

I don't know much about him -- or whether he actually practiced criminal defense law. Maybe he's not even in practice any more, I have no idea. I just figured that if he were, he'd be listed there if he knew he could be. I can't imagine that, having written a book to help CCWers, that he's not pro-CCW legal defense.

peacefuljeffrey, it looks pretty easy to get added to the list. Contact him and have him place his listing on there.

Good link Jimmy, but no NC lawyers. The SC contact is not even a lawyer.
