This particular piece I have several thousand rounds through in target competition and literally dozens of hours logged in tactical training, I've just never carried it. It was an Xmas gift from my father since he knows how much I've used it.

As smolck stated just aft of the hipbone and I also had to adjust the cant. I will also try the addition of the suede backing. I also have CrossBreed Super Tuck for my sometimes carry M&P 40 carried in the same location. Both of these holsters provide for a very comfortable carry.

I'm 6'1", around 215, so far, I haven't had a problem carrying upwards of a P229 IWB. The key is a good holster and a good belt. Both of which work together to keep the P229 in close to my body, even during the summer, I've been able to carry the Sig IWB under a darker colored t-shirt with no big issues.
