    Question Confused In Florida

Please help! Due to the recent "attacks" on our 2A rights I feel obliged to speak my views. How can I do so without breaking our unwritten rule to "expose" ourselves as CC.

Where would you "expose" yourself. There is nothing wrong with having a logical, well though out, CALM, discussion over the 2nd amendment with someone.

People you discuss issues with, don't need to know you are armed!

I know what you mean, and have had a couple discussions to promote our rights. I keep wanting to use myself as an "example" of a "good guy with a gun" (have a good reputation). Avoid it and keep talking or reinforce it by exposing myself? Bighting the bullet in FL, LOL Bob.

I don't know that there is an unwritten rule about exposing one as a CHL holder or whatever it is called in your particular area.

If one is an advocate for something, they can not be effective if they are not in the open about what they are advocating for. If you are looking to write an article to the local paper, or send a letter to your congress critter, I see no problem with telling them who you are and why you feel the way you do. But that is my view, others may disagree.
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.
