CCW at AZ State Fair
Recently, Arizona passed a storage bill for weapons. It states that a public establishment or the operator of a public event must provide storage if they ban firearms from the establishment or event.
See:

and
ARS 13-3102.01
The Arizona State Fair Website, www.azstatefair.com, states that weapons are not allowed. Does anybody know if the info on the website has just not been updated or are they providing storage? Or...are they just violating the law?

Another question.
Is alcohol served at the AZ State Fair? If so, they may be exempt from the law requiring them to provide storage.
If alcohol is served in a beer garden however and not allowed to leave that area, then they may not be exempt.
I've not been able to find any info on the WWW.

Last time I was there there was no place to check weapons. So yes, they seem to be violating the law.

Nope, there are many little vendors that serve alcohol on the premises. They're exempted by Title 4 (liquor laws) and because they're there you can't carry.
Cheers.

I just say the word concealed then I go where I want. If something happens the last thing on your mind will be is it legal to carry here. Well thats my thoughts. Hi from northern AZ have a good time at the fair
Today, we need a nation of Minutemen, citizens who are not only prepared to take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom.

I agree, no metal detectors then I carry. God knows the gang-bangers don't abide by the rules.
