Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I think Dangerranger got it right, no butt. I'll try a good gun belt, maybe suspenders, and I do need jenny craig.
I have the same problem, all belly with spare tire. My solution was a Wilderness 5 stitch belt, best money I ever spent. Good luck.
Well, weight loss isn't just for carry anymore, there ARE other benefits. :p

I did a modification where there is a kydex holster glued into the elastic pocket of the belly band.( I used contact cement to secure it in place) So the gun isn't sitting in the elastic but rather a normal kydex holster. This way the gun always stays in the proper position and proper angle also very secure. It is an inside the waist band set up. I also wear pants that have an expandable waist band.
When wearing it there is NO weight pulling down on your pants at all. The weight of the gun is completely held in place independently. It works so well I don't even feel the gun all. It's by far the best most comfortable set up I've ever tried.
All good suggestions, but all based on your ability to discipline yourself more than you have in the past. I too have this issue and was thinking about an alternative. I'm going to eat at McDonalds three or four times a day until I grow a butt the size of Rhode Island to support the weight...... Problem solved......Sandpiper
A good belt is the best answer. A $12 belt from Target will stretch.
I use a good belt, and have stayed away from single clip IWB holsters they seemed to increase this problem, the cross bread dual clip IWB holster I use was ordered for my XD but it holds my S&W, my SIG 220 elite, as well as all my XD's. good luck
Thanks for all the responses. I will be taking them all into consideration (especially eating at Mcdonalds  ) Seriously, I have been doing on-line research on the belt companies you all have listed. and will make a choice soon.
See you at McDonalds.
Welcome to the Perry Suspenders eStore
They have a J-hook that slips conveniently under belt, on in 2 sec, off in the same. All different types, colors etc. They are GREAT for CCW, allow adjustment so your shoulders can carry any percentage of the weight of the gun you like. I do 50-50, half of the weight on the suspenders, half on the belt/waist.
Try one pair, I think you'll find a huge difference in comfort Carrying. Well worth the $15 bucks to give them a shot (they are quite wide too, and some look great just as clothing accessory. I get flattering comments when wearing. I usually Ccw with a pair of those under an open vest, leather in the winter. Even big guns conceal fine that way.
I have one heads-up about one style of theirs: the suspenders that attach to the back and side of the belt: I had one of these pair and they alone I don't think are good for CCW because the side-strap gets in the way of cleanly drawing your gun.
Aside from that, any other style is great. I find the "normal" ones - where the degree of elasticity is average, work fine, even for heavy guns. So, for me, no need for the "Construction" type, which have less elasticity and are stiffer and I think doubled material.
You might consider a SmartCarry - Concealed Gun Holsters holster. Pants are not an issue with me, but I love the deep concealment, and it's more comfortable than one might suspect.
Good luck in finding the right rig.
