The way he made the comment about the judge, I thought he was under the impression that a judge had decided a case and stated in his decision that all states have to honor each other's CCW. I showed him the map and said, "See those red states? Those are the ones where your GA license is not recognized." He seemed less certain after that.

I don't mind stupid kids, it's the nature of kids (I've raised 6 of 'em & spent some time as one myself!). It's the stupid, pontificating, bad-intel spewing GROWN-UPS that give me the butt-cramp. I resent them using the same credibility of wrinkles & gray hair that I USE as entirely too effective camouflage for their... ignorance. :biggrin2:
Just the other day a friend of mine was saying to me, "There are people in the world who won't believe there's a flood until they get wet."
So, what I'm wondering is why (metaphorically speaking), for the sake of ideology, pride, pet theories, emotions, or what have you, WHY would reduce your capacity to that of someone who is blind and deaf? Or actually less, because people who are blind and deaf learn to get by with a little help and therefore GO when they feel that friendly hand tugging on them.
Ugh. Hope he stays out of prison long enough to learn.
For the record. I didn't mean to imply that you said the whole one day thing. If I recall the OP said the kid in question said he got his in one day and supposedly saw the judge, got his paw print and the whole nine yards.... So, unless this kid and the OP lives in Candler county Ga, or some other similar tiny little township, where the judge is probably the acting sheriff. I seriously doubt that the kid in question is being truthful about his concealed carry license.
Explain to this guy that when he gets caught carrying in the wrong place, and is convicted of a felony, he won't be carrying anything anymore.
