JMO, but Tim Schmidt has one thing he's interested in, and that is money in his pocket. I'll pass on lining his pocket.

I got sucked in early on. I regretted it for two years afterward.
Do what you want but, it won't end well.

Yoda, I am, yes.
Glad someone asked.. was seriously considering joining it for the insurance part of it more than anything. Got some free report many moons ago and spam started coming in. Guess Ill just get me a lifetime membership with NRA or something.
Here is a different opinion: I have been a member for several years and have found it to be very worthwhile. I've been around guns for decades. I grew up with them and am an ex-cop (patrol, detective, and SWAT), but still learn something good from every issue of the magazine. I did not want the insurance when it started because I'm already covered through two other organizations, but I continued my membership anyway because I really enjoy the magazine and the forum. Now you can subscribe to the magazine without the insurance. I don't agree with everything that Tim does. I don't even agree with everything that I do. But after several years, I still think what he offers is worth what I pay for it. I just renewed my membership and feel quite good about it. Next year, I may drop the insurance, but I'm sure I will continue to subscribe to Concealed Carry Magazine. It's been quite good.
A true grifter.
