    Fobus Mag Holsters

I just received a couple Fobus mag holsters I purchased, 1 for my .380 and 1 for my 9mm.

The 380 mags fit great. The 9mm mags are REALLY tight. Anybody else have an issue with Fobus sizing?

I have several Forbus Mag Pouches, and I've never had a problem. The mags fit perfectly and are secure.
I have these for .45 single stack,.45 double stack, and 9mm double stack...all are fine.http://www.fobusholster.com/catalog/...ches-66-1.html

They are easy on/off and are extremely comfortable.

Judging by your signature, are you having issues with the Shield mags? If so, I presume you got single stack mag carriers. Shield is 1.5 stack. If you look at the mag, it bottle necks a little. Here's a pix that shows single stack, Shield and double stack difference:

That's interesting. I'll have to look at what I ordered. I thought I had ordered for the Shield, but maybe I ordered for a 9mm single stack. Hmmmm.

    Thanks!

Yepper, spoke with Midway (where I purchased mags) and it looks like I probably got the wrong item. Now I need to find a mag holder for my 9mm Shield!!!

Some of the 2x mag carriers have a screw in the middle that allow for adjustment. Can't remember the brand, but I have one for single stack, and with the screw slightly loosened, it works very well for Shield.

I have a couple Fobus holsters and mag pouches. The mag pouches have just a good friction fit. The holsters on the other hand are very tight. I use them at the range sometimes and I hope they will loosen up a little bit with use. Since they are not my carry holsters it's not a huge deal, but it would be nice if I didn't have to almost struggle to draw from these holsters.

I have a single stack double mag carrier, and while it generally works well for range use, I wouldn't use it every day. It's too loose and mags can easily fall out with rigorous movement.

My one and only experience with Fobus was a holster so poorly sized that it was unusable. I never bought any more Fobus products.
