Angry Business's that doesn't want our business. (No carry stickers at the door)

There was a thread mentioning that GoodYear has the “No Carry” sticker on their door. I was made aware that a Buffalo Wild Wings *I am not sure of the location though* also has it posted, although the one that I frequent on a weekly (if not more) basis does not.

What other national franchises post this? I would like to know so I can stop spending money with them, in addition to contacting them to explain why.

I know Costco is anti gun. Many state grass roots organizations keep a list of gun unfriendly businesses. Might want to check out yours.

I carry in Costco all the time, their signs don't mean squat in Utah.

The Costco where I shop doesn't post, or I may have missed it. I have looked and have carried there before. Short of asking, I will double check next timeand then check again.

Why is Costco "anti gun" No where in their policies have I seen it stated that customers can not carry in their stores/warehouses. I have seen Costco policies that stated something like they didn't feel they were necessary, but did not forbid it. This is no more than an insurance statement, but when they say "we don't feel that it is necessary" (or however they worded it) it is like saying "we don't feel hippie tie dye moo moo dresses are appropriate on our customers". This means nothing, and doesn't forbid tie dye moo moo's. Having this in their policy just drops just drops their insurance rates down just a little bit.

Now some managers may misinterpret this policy and elect to post a sign, but this is like any other store. I would have a hard time placing them in the "anti" category just because of this.
"Gun Free Zones" is where only criminals carry guns.

I haven't seen any no gun signs in my area, maybe I just don't notice them. I did look when I went in my bank yesterday, they had a sign, "report any firearm related incidents". I guess that means I can carry there if I'm not involved in an incident.

Sign or no sign, concealed is concealed and state preemption rules the day. All they can do is ask you to leave if they see it.

Take a look at Friend or Foe - Pro and Anti Gun Business Database if we all try to keep it updated, it will develop into something very useful.

You could build a whole web site on this. And someone has.

I don't see many signs in SC but the local mall has them on some (not all) entrances. By law the signs have to conform to a certain size, font, color, and exact wording. If the sign doesn't conform, like the ones at the mall, you can legally ignore them. Again, worse thing thats gonna happen is they tell you to leave if it gets spotted.

Toys 'R Us has corporate no guns policy, in small print on their doors where you can't see it when the sliding door opens.

The only common sense gun legislation was written about 224 years ago.

I carry always not because I go places trouble is likely, but because trouble has a habit of not staying in its assigned zone.
