Back to the sign posted in the OP.

It doesn't appear to be a conforming sign.

From the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission website:

Weapons Warning Sign - If alcohol sales constitute less than half of gross receipts, the required sign says: "It is unlawful to carry a weapon on the premises unless the person is licensed to carry the weapon under the concealed handgun law." If alcohol sales constitute more than half of gross receipts, the signs have 51% in large red letters superimposed over the warning which notes that possession of a concealed weapon on the premises is a felony.

I carry always not because I go places trouble is likely, but because trouble has a habit of not staying in its assigned zone.

My G-d; still going and still getting answers which prove that more than 10 hours of training
    is required.

The sign posted by the OP is NOT the 51 sign.

Look, there are three signs which carry legal weight here: The 51 sign; the sign required by the Alcohol and Beverage
Commission which we are discussing and which is not a 51 sign; and the 30.06 sign.

They are all different. They all have a different purpose.

Once again, the sign posted by the OP is a WELCOME sign to the CHL holder. It is not a 51 or a
    30.06 sign.

None of this is complicated and if you have taken the Texas CHL class your really should know
about all of this. If you don't, go find another class somewhere and do it all again so you
    stay out of trouble.

Ah, post #46 is from a participant indicating they are from SD. Look, the signage we are discussing
here is TEXAS specific. If you don't live here or don't carry here while visiting, ignore the thread.
If the Union is once severed, the line of separation will grow wider and wider, and the controversies which are now debated and settled in the halls of legislation will then be tried in fields of battle and determined by the sword.
