Where does the gun go when I'm at the gym?
I go to the gym 3-4 days a week after work. the location of my work is very safe and I keep my gun locked in my car while I'm at work because I also consider the parking lot safe.
However, the gym I frequent has seen a lot of vehicle break-ins. I'm also not too keen on leaving the gun in the flimsy lockers, or freaking out my fellow gym-goers (or tipping them off that my locker contains cellphone, wallet AND $500 firearm).
Carrying the gun during my workout is also a no-go, IWB would fall off gym pants from movement eventually and belly belt would be downright uncomfortable.
Any solutions?

Work out at home. Solves the weapon storage problem and you can save your membership dues to buy more guns/ammo.

Easy: Quit working out. It's what I did and I've never been happier!

I have made a meal out of a lb of bacon more times than I can count, if it wasn't for workouts I'd be rollin' in a rascal scooter.

I have the same issue.
I usually lock it up in car, can see car from the gym, so not as big an issue. also low crime. I have a small safe in the car, but I will admit, I still worry whenever I leave gun in there.

Have a really loud alarm installed on your car. Some of the better ones go off if the doors, trunk, or hood opens. Make sure it chirps at maximum volume when you lock it so people will be more aware that you have it. I've installed an aftermarket alarm on every car I've owned and never had a problem. Most crooks go for the easy target. If they know attention will be drawn, they're far less likely to even try to break in.

Isn't this question kind of like "What does a dog do on his day off?"
I sometimes wonder where my gun goes while I'm asleep.

I've carried mine in a small drawstring gym bag. Obviously make sure it never leaves your sight, but I don't trust the flimsy lockers either. I don't even like leaving my Emerson pocket knife in them. Good luck.

I was gonna suggest carrying it in with you in your gym bag. Just make sure you carry it with you and dont leave it out of your sight. Remember, bad things happen when you aren't looking. I've had many a locker break-in whilst working out, so I started carrying what I couldn't hang OFF me in a gym bag within at least 3 feet of me. It sucks, but it happens.

I keep it in my holster. Of course the only reason im at the gym is if Ive given someone a ride there that actually works out

Do these break ins involve total rifling through the vehicle, or are they smash and grabs? Because if they are, you might find a deep corner under your trunk panel or something where the gun would be well hidden from the quick smash and grab. Coupled with an alarm to hurry them up that might be enough.

I've got a locking strong box under the arm rest of my Duramax Z71, that works on the same key as the truck. Simple to put it in there when I go in to the gym. Also can see the vehicle from the gym, and a low crime area. Lock it up & hope for the best.

As a gym rat myself, mine is in the "hidden spot" in the car that would take time to locate in a smash and grab.
