Medication question with concealed carry
First off let me say, Hello all! I'm a newbie and glad to be a part defensivecarry.com! I have a rather odd question. I've been told by a "know it all" friend that in the state of WV, part of the background check they check for medications. Reason I ask is this, my fiance is wanting to get her concealed, but she was told by this person that should would not past the background check because she takes Lexapro for anxiety. I told her it sounded like complete BS. Only a doctor would know that. She's never been arrested or anything what so ever, so how would a background check show that, and if it does show, would it prevent her? She's not been given the Lexapro for depression, but strictly for mild anxiety. She takes her test this Saturday and now she's contemplating not going because of all this talk. Can somebody help ease her mind?
