Here is my take on this issue. I don't care if businesses in Florida have any signs or if they don't. As long as I am not violating any Fla Statues I do not even give it a second thought about entering. In the event someone does see it(which they wont) and asked me to leave, I would leave, and then I would shop elsewhere. I guess I look at it concealed is concealed so no one else should know, and if something happened in the store that would cause one to have to use your weapon, no repercussions should happen since it doesn't fall under any of the Fla Statues hence carry's no weight of the law.

No offense, but why in the world are you asking permission to carry?
If there is no sign, shop as normal. If there is a sign, they don't want your money, shop elsewhere.
Same if you are open carrying.
EDIT: In Michigan signs carry no weight. So there are places I will carry in even if there is a sign (the mall).
Concealed is concealed. No one is the wiser.
My wife doesn't like guns. Won't even think about going shooting. She doesn't pay any attention to what I have and she sure as heck isn't getting close enough to my waistband to tell whats in my holster. To her, they all look the same.

Things gun forums have taught me:
-Some people shoot guns others "run" them.
-I don't dislike Glocks but often dislike Glock owners.
-Open carry is to a handgun as bluetooth is to a cell phone!
-Simple math can deliver posts per day... some gun forum members need to get out more!!!
Home Depot permits lawfully carried firearms in its stores - Atlanta gun rights | Examiner.comHome Depot prohibits its employees from carrying firearms in the workplace, but it does not have a similar policy in place with respect to customers. Home Depot's policy is to follow state law, which in this case means that it will permit, in Georgia, openly carried or concealed handguns by patrons.

There was a post going around facebook, where a customer was carrying in Iowa at Home Depot. The gun was accidentally exposed and the customer was asked to leave. He posted his receipt from Menard's it was several hundred dollars. Told people not shop at Home Depot as they were not gun friendly. Apparently the store manager didn't get the memo!
