If the posed example were true, then wouldn't it make more sense to employ Only plain clothes police; then the bad guys would never know who might be an officer because he could look like just another person?

That is funny right there. I didn't post this as a CC versus OC, but I guess some people are sensitive about that particular topic. Hahah
I only meant it as an easy to understand graphic as it pertains to good citizens being armed versus good citizens being sheep. I don't care how you carry, but really wish more people would...that's all.

I like the analogy...except it's that one of those cookies MIGHT be poisoned...you don't even actually have to poison one.
I keep trying to explain that to people enamored with Gun Free zones who think I'm trying to force people to be armed in there...these guys are picking these zones because they know no one will be armed...there's nothing that says people ARE armed in non-gun free zones. You don't need to arm every teacher in America, just give them the option. Even if NONE of them go for the option, it's going to be known that it's possible and they'll move on to the next criminal safe zone.
