Hey everyone.I wanted to know if anyone here in florida has recently applied for the permit and how long it took to get it.I applied on 2/4/13 and just was curious.

i sent mine on 1/3 and recieved it on 1/24.. 22 days

Estimates are around 90 days.If going to a regional office,appts are out past April now so just as easy to mail

Yeah i made my apointment in the end of oct and had to wait till 2/4 to apply

thats bcuz i went to the regional office and it was quick.. and thats here in miami.. the wait time for an appt then wasnt bad either.. i called maybe on dec 29 and i got it for jan 3.. i dont kno how long the wait is now for an appt..

Received my permit a month ago. All done by mail. 83 days, mailbox to mailbox.

Regional office appointments are out into May or June now, last I heard. Probably better off mailing, since they are required to issue within 90 days of receiving an app.

Hehe...same here. Made on 21st, go 4/8. Still, I hear the new dates are way out. Obviously varies from office to office. I've wondered what would happen if I just walked in and waited for a no-show hole I could fill?
