Being new to CC Ive heard its a good idea to have money set aside if there is ever that day where you must use your firearm for SD. This got me thinking not only about the money being placed aside but also how much, and if you ever do have to deploy your firearm do you currently have an attorney that you have spoke before hand if you must be represented in a criminal case?

Well depending on where you live and the circumstances of a shooting or killing, you "could' be faced with both a criminal and a civil trial.
So I would venture to guess that it would be a good idea to have enough financial backing to withstand the possibility of two trials. One by the state, and one by family members or spouse of the victim.
There are two types of people who carry concealed weapons...Responsible ones and Irresponsible ones...which are you...

I'd forget the "gun attorney" or second amendment specialist... Get a good criminal lawyer.

Criminal attorney, depending on where you are, and on who you get, but you are most likely looking at around $10K just to hire an attorney to find you another good attorney, specializing in those type of cases, for which you'd have to plop down another $50K. After that, then it starts to get expensive.

Nope. None for me. I've made it 42 years without a lawyer, and hope to double that.
If I did, the number sure as hell wouldn't be on my phone, as the prosecutor would no doubt find that out and burn me down for it.
