    App that lists anti-gun establishments

Not sure if this is the best sub-forum for this but since its about carrying I thought it proper.

So I found this app for android (not sure if its for iPhone) that lists places that are anti-gun and it lists alternative places to go to(shop, eat, etc). Users can also submit new places for both categories. I thought it was a great idea and worth the 99 cents to purchase it. I already added my local toys r us as it wasn't listed.

With all the new 'no gun' signs and some other existing places that so many new gun owners and new LTCF people don't know about, its something I thought could be helpful.

Click here for the link to the app on the Google Play Store
or go to the Play Store on Google and the keywords "posted gun" and it should be first on the list

(FYI this is not my app, and I have no ties to it - it came up in a google search and I thought it was worth bringing to the attention to others)

Meh. Another .99 wasted. Doesn't work well for my area. Guess the requirement is you have to live in an area that has sidewalks.

Seems we do well pointing out the anti-gun companies. It would be nice to see better promotion of those that are pro-gun.

Went to the site and the first thing I saw was the "Cabela's
9810 Quil Ceda Boulevard, Tulalip, WA, United States Supporters of the 2nd Amendment obviously but they don't mind concealed carry. Open carry requires check in of weapon and to carry around the store in a case."

This is not correct. My guess is the posting person went in on a day there was a new person that didn't understand the policy. Should have asked for a manager. I am registering to hopefully correct the post.

The"No Gun" signs posted by private businesses carry no weight of the law here in Florida unless for some reason a store employee becomes aware that you are carrying and should ask you to leave. You must do so or you could be charged with trespassing.

The "No Gun" signs do tell me where not to shop and/or eat. Several shops and restaurants in my local area have removed the signs, not because of the loss of business, but to not alert the bad guy that he may be able to rob the store/Restaurant without the fear of being confronted by a customer or employee with a gun.
