While not the Wally Walk I did go to a country buffet to eat with the wife and son . Sat with my strong side to the PUBLIC side of the rest. and to a pawn shop to check out a shotgun and a few pistols .
The wife when asked if I was acting goofy on my first ccw she replied ( I didn't think you took it with you)so I guess mission accomplished in a manner of speaking.

Congratulations.
I don't have my CC permit yet (i have applied) so I haven't had that first carry yet. I'm sure it will feel strange.
I have read about the Wally walk. What is the official "walk"?

If you search Wally walk in google you'll get the idea ,it's supposed to get you in the public eye and have you walk throught the store to get over the jitters of carrying in the "real world" if you can call Walmart the real world also Walmart is gun neutral in most locations.
