Middle School Teacher Arrested for CC at School

The guy made two mistakes. He carried at a school where it is a felony to do so. And he told his students. What could go wrong with that?

I didn't really understand the article until I read this quote from one of his students

“And we're like 'oh [ok]', and he's like 'yeah', and it was just pretty much, we knew about it."

    That clears it up.

Let's see: He knowingly breaks the law, and tells students about it. In my book, that really equals STUPID X 2. Once for breaking the law and again for telling everyone about it. That's like deliberately speeding past a LEO with a radar and then turning around to bring it to his attention. What should one expect???

On the other hand, if he wanted to become a martyr for the GFSZA, then he did a great job of it.

What an idiot, in San Diego no less. Not very gun friendly there. This guy really thought none of his students would tell there parents. I'm only surprised by the fact that it took so long for the school to find out after he told his students. I don't advocate commiting fellony gun crimes but if you do have the common sense to keep it concealed.

Yes, he is a bonehead, but then there must be many boneheads in that school district based on some of the comments in the article.

Warning: Do not drink water in Tierrasanta area, it may make you stupid.
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

He was also charged with possession of a knife with a locking blade? I haven't lived in California since 2006... is it really illegal to have a knife with a locking blade??? Are you less likely to cut someone if the blade may fold closed on your hand?

So many things I love about California, and I don't think I can live there ever again. It's gone full retard!

The teacher btw, is an idiot. He could have, if he wanted, carried that thing perpetually and it would've never been detected. That said, it's California. Even if he used it to save the day he would've gone down.

Should have just open carried, it would have been more discreet.

With teachers demonstrating that level of mental acuity, is it any wonder that the school systems are failing us?

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes as it is commonly said around the Forum.

I guess the guy had the right to remain silent, but just didn't have the ability. He's going to find out just how much that will cost him in the long run.

And you can't fix stupid, but it can be arrested and the School Board can fire it.

My question is why he felt a need to tell his students in the first place??? His right to carry (i know but its ILLEGAL) made illegal by an illegally passed law but I digress.

Anyway whats his reason. Impress the cute little girls? Intimidate the boys? Attempt to look cool? I cant think of one good reason why even it was legal there to tell the kids.
