Liberals never judge their policies based on the results that come from them, but by how well intentioned they are. Joe Biden admitted it when he said the new proposed gun laws will do nothing to stop mass killings. It's all about making it look like your doing something when in reality you are doing nothing and only making the problem worse.

It is obviously Ruger's fault- I would think that is obvious. They force otherwise nice folks to shoot each other over drug deals.

Now Jesse Jackson Jr. is getting locked up.

I see a pattern <--- icon is unrelated, but I thought it was funny

I was reading an article, maybe on here, can't remember. It was about Chicago and a link to wikipedia. If their numbers are right,Chicago has an average of 500 murders a year since 2000.It seems someone could figure out how to stop some of it.We haven't had 500 in a year, for the entire state of S.C.Everyone has crime but, evidently, its the norm in Chicago.

Missed one: Largest population in any U.S. city of dead people who still vote.
Chicago politicians can really dig up the votes...

Some of that gang activity spills over up to Milwaukee. Many gang members that are arrested have Chicago affiliations. Chicago - please keep your filth down there.

Big difference between there & here - we have a concealed carry law & we can legally stand our ground. If some of that scum makes their way to "good" neighborhoods they're liable to get shot & not necessarily by other gang members.

Sad part about Chicago is that I like going there. I could NEVER live there because of the overwhelming liberal nature of the City. But the physical structure of the city is amazing.

It is a shame that that the politics need to be that way.

This is absolutely KEY! Democrats do not care about results. They only care about the polling that shows that their message (Not their policies or outcomes) is well received by the low-information voter.

Don't forget our State Sen. Donnie Trotter that recently tried to carry an 'unregistered' firearm onto a flight. Trotter is an outspoken supporter of Chicago's gun laws... he just doesn't believe they apply to him.

One correction. Handguns are no longer illegal in Chicago. SCOTUS ruled on that several years ago.

I heard today that they can't put one more person in jail there..there is just zero room, and obiously zero $$ to build any. Criminals are happy, their government makes their job easier. Criminals know the secret, if their crime does not make into the nationwide news, there is a very good chance they get away with it.

Oh but you just don't understand the lengths to which these fools go to pass the buck for their failures.
Global Warming To Blame For Chicago?s High Murder Rate This Year?
This is like the old 6 degrees of separation except with Dems finding a way to blame Republicans there's usually no more than 3 degrees of separation of it getting back to everything being Bush's fault.
