Same old pants you been wearing. Jeans, cargo or whatever. No need to change your wardrobe. The only thing you really need is a good thick belt. Now if you want to go all out tactical and carry extra mag(s), knife, flashlight etc., then maybe you may need to wear something like you are talking about.
I wear blue jeans at work and carry everyday. Carrying a gun shouldnt require a major wardrobe change. If you like BDU's ok.

i like wearing BDU style pants just wondering if they would be a good choice.
I stay away from the tacticool clothing. +1 on a good gun belt.
I second the above comments. I wear either jeans or cargo pants with a good belt.

I have worn Wrangler jeans for years; they work well for IWB or pocket carry (nice large pockets). And as others have said get a good belt.

Regular pants I wear any other time. I used to buy my pants one size larger for IWB carry, but the bunching up of the extra material on the waistband drove me nuts.

I'll tell ya this:
I wear cargos for work (telecom, data, vid) installer. Tear 'm up regularly.
Recently tried a coupla pairs of Duluth Trading Company Firehose Flex pants.
Whether its work or play, or for carry, these can't be beat.
Just a heads up, if you like cargos.

I think the holster is more important than the pants..though you may have to go up an inch in the waist, depending on body shape. My supertuck works in jeans, cargo pants, and even shorts with a M&P9c.

Also I usually wear polos or full button shirts untucked but they seem a little short. Anyone know of a good brand or style to go with that would be a little longer for better concealment
I am absolutely serious about this: Get pants that are 2 inches larger than your regular pant size and then be sure to use a real gun belt!
FWIW it makes all the difference!
