Who compiled the CCW Attorney List? Got a question.

Searching for the user who did the research on the CCW lawyer list.

I posted the link here on another forum where the topic comes up frequently. A question was asked Why are these qualified to be on said list. I assume it is because they handle SD cases and general CCW concerns, etc. Just wondering how it came about that their names were deemed acceptable to include on the list.

While I didn't compile it, I posted the link below. It appears that a "pro-gun rights" attorney may add themselves to the list, it's that simple. Anyone using this as a guide would obviously need to talk directly with an attorney...I see this list as a starting point in selecting legal representation, nothing more.

If I ever needed a lawyer that specialized in 2A kind of things I would probably call the Buckeye Firearms Ass, if you have something like that in Ar-kansas you might give them a try.

Ken Hanson, Buckeye Firearms Legislative Chair, is on the attorney list. I couldn't think of a better CCW/gun rights attorney in Ohio than Ken. Everyone should have his phone number programmed into their cell phones.

Legitimate question. I compiled the list as a service to the carry community who are members of this Forum, and who do not already have an attorney, nor have other access to one. The attorneys on the list all represented to me, or to others referred to me, that they have knowledge and experience in CCW matters. It should go without saying that no one connected with the Forum, including myself or any of the administrators are making any personal representations as to the competence of any attorney on the list. As I have stated before in other posts, I believe that everyone who has a permit and carrys a gun should have made prior contact with a competent attorney who they can call immediately if the worst case scenario happens and they have to use deadly force. And it is my further opinion that the key word here is immediate, because what you say or don't say to the police or in the 911 call that they may make can be the key to their future fate. Hope that this helps a bit to answer your question.
