The most uncommon places you carry?
How many carry to the mailbox, carry when telecommuting or in your own home, carry when mowing the lawn, carry walking the dog? It's funny but once you get accustomed to carrying it feels more like a seatbelt and you just want to be prepared at all times? How many of you carry a second weapon on you when shooting another one at the range, or when you compete in IDPA or USPSA, do you have a loaded carry in your range bag, on your ankle?
Just checking to see how many people are as paranoid, uh-hum, I mean consistent as I am?

If I'm there, I'm armed, provided it isn't a felony to be there armed.

Probably the most uncommon place I find myself carrying is on a mountain when I'm skiing. My gun usually ends up buried under my ski pants and other layers if I'm carrying IWB but it would be the last place I would expect a gun man or violent attack, although with a couple tugs it's still quickly accessible. A bad day on skis is better than any day in the office!!

My buddy has a real nice way of putting it when I ask if he's carrying; "I've got pants on don't I?"

I carry from the time I get up to the time I go to bed and don't go in places I cannot carry. It's more of a hassle to NOT carry to the mailbox, etc.

Ha ha...that's funny. I may have to use this sometime.
Anyways, I am just getting into carrying myself, and already carried in my home and stuff, and most likely would carry to.mailbox, grass mowing, etc

Most always carrying. My pants are "sized" for carry & I don't want to hold up my pants while I walk.

Only time I don't carry is when I am sleeping or at work just cause I work in a hospital and they wont allow it, and even my pf9 pulls my scrubs down lol.

Since I got the license, I carry everywhere, and I agree, it is like a seatbelt. You get used to it, and have to really think about not carrying it into schools, or around here, hospitals, or government buildings. I just installed a Tuffy Lockbox under my Jeep's driver's seat, for those "gun free" places.

mailbox - check
commuting - check
at home in my lounge pants - check
mowing - check
at the range - check
The only time/place I'm not carrying is while I am in the building at work and any other place I happen to go that is not allowed by law. Even when I sleep I have one within arms reach and that's just because I haven't figured out a way to make an IWB holster for my drawers.

Now that I'm fully retired...everywhere, as I don't really go to places I can't CCW. My Glock is on the night stand as I type, but my Ruger is right here next to me.

Same here, I've even carried in the Texas Capital building and man was it a liberating feeling!!
