What does your Everyday Carry "Kit" consist of..?

I think everybody who carries tries to split the difference between a fully-loaded infantryman and what a "Baywatch" Lifeguard could tote. I find lately less is becoming more. One pistol(G19/G26/SP101 in warm weather, a Colt 1911 in winter)+one reload, pocket-knife and cellphone. I do have a tendancy to have a small backpack that has a 2nd gun+reload and multitool nearby in my vehicle...but NOT always. What does your EDC kit look like? Curious if the younger folk carry more or it's a function of the area(crime rate etc)that determines how much you pack. THANKS!

I carry my keys, wallet, phone, pocket knife and a large void where my pistol should be. I hate Illinois.

Gun, holster, phone, chapstick, small folding knife, keys, handkerchief.

Add ons depending on situation: Flashlight (its always in my car regardless), extra magazine(s), ball point pen, and S&W folding knife.

    On my person...

Sidearm, folding knife, fixed blade, wallet, keys, watch, lighter, flashlight.

In a small pouch I keep in my cargo pocket I've got another lighter, needle and thread, multi-tool, pen, notebook, pocket screwdriver, assorted boo-boo items, zipties, change for a 20, and paperclips...

In vehicle at all times is another bag I tote around with more junk in it than should be...

    What can I say...

I was a boy scout for 8 years and then a Marine...

Re: What does your Everyday Carry "Kit" consist of..?

As a member of the younger folk at the young age of 22 I thought I'd add in what my kit has.

    - Gun in holster
    - One reload in horizontal kydex mag pouch
    - Knife
    - Streamlight Protac 2AA

This is in addition to the regular wallet keys phone stuff. I recently added the flashlight and thought I would never need one... It's amazing how much you need something once you have it on you all the time.

SR1911 as primary, M&P40c as backup, extra mag for the 1911, knife, cell phone, did carry a flashlight but it died and I still need to replace it. I also normally have my backpack, as I take the bus to and from work, and it includes 2 extra mags for the M&P40c.

    Oh...

And I'm probably one of those "younger folk" you're referring to...

Glock 19 with 124 gr speer gold dots. Occasionally an extra mag but I really don't like to. I feel 15 rounds of 9MM should be sufficient in 99% of the defensive scenarios. I don't plan on getting into a gunfight with body armored bank robbers. I'm 43.

My "kit" includes S&W Shield in 9mm, wallet, cheap Gerber pocket knife now (upgrading just a bit...just order Kershaw Cryo today as I start looking at gaining knowledge on tactical knives for defensive purposes), and a cell phone.
