Took my daughter out for her first trick or treat (22 months old) she loved it and said "thank you" to people without being asked!! (proud father moment) Didn't take her long to realize people were giving her stuff and thinking she was cute!!
I carried a folder and a small can of bear spray, as we are not allowed to carry. In my area, cougars and bears are a real concern likely less than the 2 legged predators.
