This was supposed to be a response to the changes Arizona made back in 2011 that made it easier for their residents to get a CCW permit.

Does AZ even issue permits? They legalized CC without one in 2011, did they go the Alaska route where you can get a permit if you want one just for reciprocity but don't need one in state?

We can still get A permit in AZ, in fact that's the only way to legally carry in restaurants that serve alcohol. As for Nevada, well I guess I don't care to go there now. Hopefully they'll go the route of NM and recognize it again soon.

Ah, that makes sense. You would think that with crushing unemployment, a devastated housing market, municipal bankruptcy and a gaming industry which it depends on so heavily but is struggling to survive, NV would be more welcoming to visitors and/or potential residents.

Interesting. No permits honored from the five contiguous states, no Florida, no Texas, no Utah.

Good thing I have zero interest in visiting anything in that state, especially LV.

Why was there no advance warning of this? Isn't anybody monitoring these things? I live in AZ and go to Vegas quite frequently on work.

I know nothing but California's silly rules.
Can Nevada (or any other state) OC be "cocked and locked"?
I don't always have nothing to say, but when I do, I post it on Facebook.
