    Squeaky leather?

I just got a Triple K carry belt and when used with my Desantis Mini-Slide, there is a lot of squeaking between the leather belt and leather holster... is this just something you have to get used to? ...or will it go away as the two pieces break-in?

Some folks use a leather conditioner, some use baby powder; I use candle wax. Whatever, it goes away or I get used to it.

There is a company that produces a product called LEXOL. There are three parts a cleaner, conditioner, preservative. Powder works well but removes oil from the leather. Salt from persperation is hard on leather as well as dirt. Keeping it clean and protected is the secret to long life.

I've heard that rattlesnake urine works great. Tough part is getting them to pee in the bottle.

Had the same problem with my new Crossbreed Super Tuck Deluxe. I had some Meguire's motorcycle leather conditioner in my garage for my bike. I used it liberally on the holster with a rag and no more squeaks! (I applied it on both sides of the holster)
