    Above waist band holster??

First off my go to carry gun is a gen 4 glock 19 in a remora holster or the glock tactical holster( or whatever it's called)
The other night I was watching a tv show "arrow". One of the characters carries a glock 17 at the 6 o'clock position. When I saw him turn around his holster looked to be an owb but it was above the waist. I've been searching for days for a pic of that scene but cannot find it. But of anyone knows what I'm talking about can you tell me what kind of holster would allow me to carry like that?
Basically a holster that is owb and allow me to carry at the 6 o'clock position comfortably. Need to be able to sit and walk comfortably to which the remora is allowin me to do. Really just curious about that holster because I would like to try and carry that way since most of my pants are pretty fitted and iwb isn't always comfortable at the position

Sounds like he had his 'shoulder holster' on the wrong way.

I'm not familiar with a holster design you speak of...

Actually I think the movie was Die Hard and it wasn't a holster, it was duct tape.

If it can't be accomplished with duct tape then it can't be accomplished.

I've heard bad things about carrying small of the back at 6 o'clock. It's a good way of harming your spine if you go down backwards.

Haha maybe i was just seeing things. But it looked pretty cool when I saw it. The holster was just above his waist and had the glock upside down so that the grip was facing up. I guess I'll just stick to my current carry positions since they serve me pretty well so far

Isn't that show a cartoon? Might be hard to peg that to a real holster!

Belly band style holsters or SOB holsters might allow that sort of carry.

    For example ...

    SOB style holster

I don't know everyone, but I sure don't pick a holster or carry position cause "it looked really cool". Most of us put a little more thought into it than that.

go to pistolwear.com, they have an above waist holster that I use and it carries at the 6 o'clock position in front, I love it, very comfortable to wear and no one can tell you are carrying. my wife says she can never tell if I am armed or not.

I would think that would be a very awkward draw.

Hi, I'm a little late to the conversation but that particular episode and holster is what led me to this website and forum. I agree that holster was pretty cool. However, it was not "grip up" but rather "grip down". Right hand draw. Season 2 episode "The Scientist" around the 17:00 minute mark. Obviously a real holster. This show is based on a cartoon but it's not a cartoon. I would think you could wear that at the 4 or 5:00 position as well. But I'm not sure what holster it is or where to find it. I am curious as to whether you had any luck.

My wife carries her Kahr P380 at 6 o'clock with her "hip hugger" from Can-Can holsters. She wears it to the gym with very tight fitting clothes. No problem! Hip Hugger Holsters ? Can Can Concealment

If you you like tight pants then the best I have found are the smart carry holsters. The pistols sits on top of your private parts not pointed at femoral or other major Veins and artery.

Someday. That’s a dangerous word. It’s really just a code for ‘never’.
