    Feeling Fortunate

Red letter day! My CPL was waiting for me in the mailbox this afternoon, just as the state of Washington informed me it was bound by law to do so. Thirty days is the time limit here, following filing of the application, and today was the 30th day. From what I've been seeing and hearing regarding other states and areas, I'm feeling pretty darn fortunate.

Congrats. Filed mine in TN December 27 and am still waiting. Called today and was told to check back in a week to 10 days. Ugh.

Congrats from a fellow Washingtonian! Not sure what part of WA you're in, but mine took 3 business days. West of Seattle here, smallish town.

They do the same to me. I hate it. But where I live I need to pick it up at the Police station on the 30th day.
