Sorry, I couldn\'t resist the lame joke.

Seriously though, I have been in a few confrontations. Fortunately though I have thus far not been faced with a gun or a reason to draw mine.

Yes, I have been drawn down on. I didn\'t draw mine because I didn\'t have one. It won\'t go down that way again.

And GoodSamaritan - if that\'s a reasonable likeness of your weapon you really should consider getting one with a trigger guard.

Yes, I have drawn, and was drawn on once. Didn\'t own a gun at the time I was drawn on (still in high school at the time)

Reasonable enough. Not to worry though, it does have a half cock feature that blocks the hammer from touching the tound and locks the trigger.

Hmm, gave me reason to think of something that I don\'t think of often!

At age 13/14 while on vacation in Western MA, the son of the cottage owner was being a wise guy (he was slightly older than me and had already been in trouble with the police a number of times) and pointed his 12 gauge shotgun at me. It was unnerving to say the least.

As a PO I had a couple of situational calls that caused me to draw my weapon and investigate in a low ready position, but I never had occasion to point it at a person.
