    what law are you refering to that allows you to pass through the state of NY with a loaded gun? there isn't one. If I misunderstood and the gun was unloaded and locked in the trunk with the ammo seperate then let me know.
    If you were carrying a loaded handgun in NYS then you could go to prison if you aren't a LEO and/or NYS resident with permit.

    Indeed - passing thru loaded - bad news.

    Locked in box and ammo separate etc - theoretically Ok but that even could depend on the demeanor of who stops you.

    Mioduz Since ya seem to want to argue with everyone on every point first your cocky then your not your own words..

    And don't want to listen to the fellows here i can tell you you permit will not cover you in new york just like everyone else has told you you were carrying illegally .. since this post really serves no purpose except to prove you don't want to listen I'm closing it and use the search button and you will find this topic has been beat to death.
