Nice article...Thanks for posting...
Oh...and welcome to Defensive Carry...
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
Very Happy to have you join this site and a very nice article.. Welcome from Seattle!!
A well-thoughtout article. this statement threw me a bit though: "Liberty University took a bold and courageous step announcing their new policy to allow all students with valid state and university concealed weapons permits to carry on campus,..."
A university can issue an individual permit? New one on me.
And welcome to the forum from S. FL. Good first post.

"The change won't allow students to carry a gun inside school buildings, including dorms, classrooms, and even the football stadium."
This from the other thread on this topic. It's phoney baloney.
The other link does show that there are still considerable restrictions on where people can carry, and a lot of concern about where firearms will be left when they cannot be carried into school buildings.. Still its a small step in the right direction.
