    Stinkin badges... another related subject....

In relationship to the popular weekly "CCW badge" topic... ran across these on eBay and thought it was rather odd...

So... these are supposedly to put on your vehicle and warn people your carrying CONCEALED!? Dooooh!

Is that about as stupid, if not more so than a badge? Although they are sort of funny.

It's like the Pot Heads who have the big Cannabis leaf decal on their wind sheild wondering why the cops always bust them smoking in their car. I hope no one on the forum has bought one of these.

You'd have to be "loaded " indeed to buy one of those....

Oh oh oh!!! you just reminded me of a good story...

An aquantance of mine, who was a fairly regular smoker of the herb, coming from the lowcountry of SC on his way back to his mountain home on I26 sees a sign (they regularly do this but he didn't know I guess) that says "Drug Checkpoint Ahead". And so he in his mellow stupor along with is buddy immediately get off at the next exit to avoid said "Drug Checkpoint"... and of course you know the rest.... at the top of that exit.... is where the real drug checkpoint is...

    DOOOOOH! Busted....

I worked construction for some years , as a traffic control supervisor . This gave me the keys , and password access to the digit boards ( the orange signs on trailers that you see made of lights ) If i had a 24 hr one lane going i had lots of fun with the messages , since they are all cellular compatable and can be reprogramed from home LOL .. Drug check point was allways one of my favorites to slap on , then let the locals know so they could use improper u turn ( two lane roads here ) as pc for a stop LOL . If i happened to get stuck working nights , well lets say they can be one of the things that helps a fella stay awake ... did pachyderm crossing , and lots of estoric warnings ( once even a caution hillery ahead ) just to help liven things up lol .

I can't really imagine anyone actually displaying that - tho I guess a few might!

More likely to me is it's a fun deal - sorta thing I'd make up on the puter.

Similar category perhaps to this fella

pgrass i saw a pic of it online LOL from one of my worksights ( I know it was mine since i was parked in the orange pickup that was in the pic ) I never thought of it but would have done the " road closed due to some idiot on a cell phone getting his a$$ runover " anyway the flaggers under me allways enjoyed the delay much more when folks pulled up to them saying *** ??? rather than " dammed construction " LOL .

These stickers pop up from time to time.

    Last time was here: http://www.combatcarry.com/vbulletin...hlight=sticker

I like my translated version better than the original. It's about 1/2 way down the page...

Why would anyone want something like this on a vehicle? I don't even put NRA stickers on my vehicle...I don't put ANY stickers on any of my vehicles...

BUT! Putting one on the passenger side of your work truck, when your company has a "no guns allowed" policy, then having your boss jump in is hysterical!
