    54 yes, 46 no.

I'm trying to figure out what the amendment they are voting on now is about. It's sponsored by Grassley and Cruz.

EDIT: Grassley/Cruz amendment not approved. 52 yes, I didn't catch the amount of no's.

    Next up Senator Leahy's amendment.

Now to take names of those who voted FOR it and are up for re-election in 2014.

Assault weapon ban well be up soon. It should lose by a landslide. See who voted yes...these are the people to vote out as a priority

yeah But Harry switched his vote to a "NO" just so he can bring this whole mess up again in the near future. I wish he would have voted yes so he would have been on record. Politics

THE Main issue Is that in order to even being to "not work" (which it wouldn't as you said) it would require a National Registry of who owned what and where, not just new gun sales but all guns.....otherwise there were some good ideas in it but impossible to support as written

Reading the individual amendments sheds light on why a "no" is good for all pro A. While some sound good on their face, the anti gunners
always place verbiage that is not good within the amendment.

A "no" vote is good as it says "we will not allow any amendments to existing law" No wiggle room for the libs language.

What a piece of garbage to bring these people and use them as pawns for their agenda. We all know that there is no "universal background check" without registration. There will be somthing else up thier sleeve. Anyone who votes to infringe against the 2nd amendment must be thrown out of office..

You realize The guy in the Wht house talked more about guns than finding those who killed our people in benghazi and the bosten bombings? He just doesnt like NO. He doesnt like to loose. God help us.

Not just mad but HIS Lordship is absolutely FURIOUS, watched His reading on the local news. I do wonder where He gets that 90% support increased gun control; all polls I’ve seen are just the opposite.

    Just another bare faced lie.

The senate democraps vote is a slap in the face to Obama but it was well expected that the majority of Republicans would vote against all the amendments. Obama's self professed strong leadership skills and control over the senate just bit the dust......
