It took exactly 3 months, but it's here!

I submitted my CCL application on Jan. 17, and received my license today.

It took shorter than I thought it would. I had heard stories of people here in Oklahoma waiting up to half a year. So, guess I'm one of the lucky ones.

Good day all around: CCL, Senate being sensible, and (so far) my house and vehicles have gone unharmed by severe weather in the area tonight.

    Thanks for reading, everyone.

man, 5 months. In CT they have to give you notice within 60 days. It's the law. Mine took 40 days from application til I had mine in hand.

    Awesome! Well Done.

So, If I understand this correctly, on July 1 you will also be able to OpenCarry... right?

I can open carry right now if I wanted. Oklahoma passed the open carry law late last year.

Congrats on the permit, and avoiding any storm damage. I can't remember how long it took to get my OK permit when I lived there. Of course that was 18 years ago when I got it, but I want to say it took around 90 days.

While I miss still miss OK, springtime with the daily early evening thunderstorms and tornado watches, is not one of the things missed.

Congrats! I got mine about 2 months ago and I love carrying. It's starting to feel normal to me, like an extra wallet or something. It's starting to feel weird when I'm not carrying it!
