Nothing better than shared interest and to have your Dad ''come round'' to a semi - as seems the case - is even better. Then the cream on the cake huh - he's getting his CCW.!!!
Enjoy your time with Dad - mine is long gone and the few times we had shooting are fond memories.

Sounds like a GREAT day.
When I take my boys to the range, ages 14 and 11, I always ask my dad to come along, and of course he always says YES.
We end up having 3 generations together having a Great time.
I still have my first gun that my dad gave me when I was 6 years old, it is a Winchester model 131 bolt action .22 rifle, and we still bring it to the range.

Other than riding a Harley...they don't get much better than yours...
Hope your mom doesn't make you look bad at the range...women can do that...
Enjoy your family time!

A Great Day for you and your dad. My dad has been dead for 12 years and now some of the things I have left are the memories of shooting, buying guns and hunting with him. Great Day for you.
Treasure it and the ones in the future.

It's great that you have that kind of relationship. I won't tell my dad that I carry because he probably wouldn't approve of it. He's only shot a gun once in his life and he's almost eighty.

One of my favorite past-times is hunting with my dad. Have been since I was 12. Glad you can have that fun experience of shared interest too.
