That's excellent! It's good to see that even if arrest by state police that the county will not prosecute. Good on you Randolph Co.

That's good, I notice there is no mention of reciprocity on there, Madison County does allow non-residents with a permit to carry.

So as I understand it CC will be legal for law abiding citizens in Randolph County?

So how large is Randolph county? Montana big or Rhode Island small?

At least your county attorney there seems to have a large pair. I can't get too excited about this. Schools and churches are still out of bounds for law abiding gun owners.

I'm so glad I don't live in Illinois.

This was my first thought that it didn't mention non-residents with carry permits.

This is going to be a one-step-at-a-time process. Lets celebrate each victory as it comes.

I agree. So many times we are looking for all or nothing but sometimes you just have to eat an elephant...............one bite at a time.

We could take a page out of the anti's playbook, they are patient, keep fighting the fight, and get one small victory at a time until they get a larger piece of the pie.

It would be interesting to speak at length with the county attorneys in question as to their thinking and understanding of the Constitution and the law, on the matter. When it comes right down to it, I applaud the idea of ditching clearly unconstitutional crap as null & void. But it seems to me that if any of the fed-induced infringements are claimed to be unconstitutional, then equally so the state-level stuff is just as infringing. It's disingenuous to diss the one but ignore the latter. Unconstitutional is unconstitutional.

Just Great! Now we get to keep driving AROUND Ill. I am ok with them not accepting my CCW, but at least allow safe passage for traveling through.
