Its not in the "pistol free zone" statute, but you cannot carry in a courthouse pursuant to a Michigan Supreme Court Order

If you get stoped by the police you'll have to tell them you're carrying.

Also note that the parking lot of those places are not off limits. Therefore, you can store your firearm in the vehicle while you are there. Securely of course.

One other thing, Casinos have there own rules so be careful there.

You should be good to go. Like another posted said, if pulled over, inform the officer first before anything else...

Under Federal law, firearms are also restricted in federal facilities. A federal facility means "a building or part thereof owned or leased by the federal government, where federal employees are regularly present for the purpose of performing their official duties." This includes facilities such as post offices and federal courts.

Furthermore, effective March 29, 2001, per Administrative Order 2001-1 of the Michigan Supreme Court:

"Weapons are not permitted in any courtroom, office, or other space used for official court business or by judicial employees unless the chief judge or other person designated by the chief judge has given prior approval consistent with the court's written policy."

Can bring into a police station, but not if it is attached to a court house. Cannot bring into an area a judge will be. Running to said judge in public, like a store or gas station is ok.

As long as you are an Indiana resident, MI honors our ltch. They do not, however, honor IN non-resident permits.

You cannot carry in a casino or even in the parking lot of a casino.
Other than that and federal buildings and the areas already listed that pretty much covers it.

    Enjoy your trip.
