    Question for NJ Permit Holders

    Yea Yea I know, there aren't many. If, perchance, there is anyone on the forum with a NJ permit or knowledge of such, my question is: What do you do about ammo selection since hollow points are illegal?

    I have been curious about this as well, anyone??
    My firearms instructor recommends avoiding NJ completely!
    He said every HP is a felony. Even if secured in trunk etc

    Have a friend who just retired from the PD after 22 yrs.......he had to re-qualify for a permit here in NJ........told me he cannot carry H.P. ammo anymore.....he's carrying Hardball.
