Just got my PA permit today

The only problem is that there are 2 typos. They've got my height listed a foot shorter than I really am and they spelled my middle name wrong.

Does anyone know if this is going to be a problem? I plan on calling them on Monday to find out.

Anyway, since I live in Illinois, the nacho run will have to wait a few months. Too bad...

Hey "shorty" I don't know if it will be that big of a problem as long as you present your drivers license with it but it wouldn't hurt to give them a call anyway and get a definitive answer on it. I would do exactly that.

5'2" 190 lbs...they were probably thinking that I was a funny looking fella when they typed it up.

I'll give 'em a ring on Monday to make sure everything's good to go.

    Congrats!!

Great news on the PA permit! How long did it take?

I have my non-res PA, but it was a breeze since I have my WV resident permit. No fuss, no muss, just $26 and a copy of my permit with a really simple application form.

Did it go as smoothly for you without a resident permit (which I know you can't get in IL - - YET!)?

Actually 5'.2'' and 170# is stil very possible! Bummer tho to have the errors - but good you have it thru.

When I moved house in 2002 I asked at SO about updating permit and they just said - no prob's - present your DL.

I'm not really sure how long it took. I was on vacation all week and arrived home to see my permit in the mail.

If I had to guess, I'd say between 10-15 days.
